I just got this in and it made me laugh...
A truck of Google StreetView, the service which makes images of the street with a truck driving around, had a small accident in the US. They didn't take into account the bridge they were driving under was lower than the arm with the camera.
The result... see for yourself :)

Do you have trouble remembering those color codes? Fear no more, this image will help you never to forget them ever again!
Today, I got a spam message that managed to get through the spam filter, and because I was using webmail at the time, it opened up automatically in the preview window.
Now, I work with Microsoft technology every day, but I might think of ordering someting in this shop... Appearantly, they have a very special version of SQL Server, namely SQL Server 2006 Special Edition.
Must be a really special edition then... I wonder if I'd get my money back if it turns out to be a 2005 version after all...

I guess these people really are pathetic and stupid at the same time. I hope the day will come that spam like this really can disappear completely, and those responsible for creating all the overhead will be put on trial. In the end, it's "the little guy" who does not know any better that is the real victim of these scams.
I'm not yet building a house to live in, but sometimes, I'm starting to think of it. My dream is an all-American house, with a porch in front, where one can sit down and relax, like we all see in the movies.
But today, I found the perfect picture to go along with that. May I present: my dream house, with a "window" to the world!
A nice story on Yahoo.com's frontpage today...
World's most premature baby is thriving, Miami hospital says (here). No, Snowball.be is not turning into a baby-newsroom... Why do I put this here then?
When you read a little further, you can read the following: When she was born on October 24, Amillia Taylor weighed just 280 grams (10 ounces) and measured 240 centimeters (9.5 inches,) slightly longer than a ballpoint pen, the hospital said.
Now, that is one HUGE baby!
Anyway, let's all hope she'll be OK...
Screenshot below for when they correct the error!
In Belgium (and also in the Netherlands), it has become a hype this year! Call in games on television. After "normal" programs end, or in the afternoon, great amounts of money are promised to the people.
However, many already know that this is PURE scam! On the following site, you can see clips proving this: http://belspelletjes.50webs.org/ .
I hope the government will address this kind of illegal activities. It has been reported that people can't pay their bills because of this.
Spread the word! This must stop! (And the people "presenting" these shows should be dropped somewhere on an abandoned island, never to return again. They ought to be ashamed of theirselves!)
Collegue-blogger PJ Van De Sande made an "interesting" article on his blog concerning the MSDN automatic correction function...
It appears that searching for WM_SETPOSITION is not known by MSDN search, however, it does suggest a new "spelling"... as can be seen in the image below.

Made me laugh on this rainy day here in Belgium
Try it yourself! (while it lasts that is. )
The pictures are kind of blurry, but this is what engadget had to say "An anonymous tipster sent us a bunch of pictures he shot last night from the outside of the Saturn Cafe in Santa Cruz.. this guy claims the pics depict the filming of a commercial of a possible "iPod killer" from Microsoft!!
